Over the year, we at Biji-biji Initiative & Mereka, in collaboration with Microsoft and Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (Kemkominfo), have designed and implemented the elevAIte Indonesia program. Our mission? To make AI literacy accessible, inclusive, and meaningful—starting with educators, students, and everyday professionals across the archipelago.

So, what happened when we put AI tools and training directly into the hands of thousands?

  • Engagement surged by 565% after we launched our Certification Batch initiative.
  • Over 10,000+ people joined AI Fluency Trainings, 98% of whom completed their sessions—many from government, education, and public sectors.
  • AI-900 certifications were delivered nationwide, boosting both technical confidence and career pathways.
  • Young innovators from across 4 elevAIte Hubs built AI-powered MVPs to address challenges in agriculture, healthcare, education, and civil service—proving that given the chance, youth can lead digital transformation.

And behind these numbers? Stories of confidence built, barriers broken, and ecosystems mobilized.

From national ministries and universities to civil society and content creators—we witnessed a movement emerge. One where AI is no longer just a buzzword, but a tool for growth, equity, and sustainability.
